Master Courses

Master classes have been introduced to allow you to spend even more time focusing on certain areas of survival training. Master Classes offer intense tuition in specific survival subjects, such as firelighting, shelter building, knife and axe sharpening, and navigation.

Feedback from courses has highlighted that there were some parts of the course that students wanted to go into even greater depth and spend more time on. The Master Classes allow you to do just that.

The Master Class course focuses on several key elements of survival, differing from our normal courses in that it is completely devoted to just those few key areas. They are extremely 'hands on' and you will find yourself immersed in the subject matter from the start of the course to the finish.

If you can't come to us, we may be able to come to you. We are able to offer a travelling service (subject to dates) to teach these and other areas.

1. Master Class Friction Firelighting – £180

03 - 04 July 2012

This will cover all areas of building, using and troubleshooting friction fire sets.

 

2. Master Class Navigation - £250

07-09 August 2012

A perfect opportunity to explore the stunning scenery of mid Wales whilst learning how to navigate in all conditions.

 

3. Master Class Sharpening Kitchen & Outdoor Knives & Axes - £180

22 -23 August 2012 (max 8 paticipants)

The ability to put a razor sharp edge on a knife , axe or cutting tool is critical to safe and efficient use. We will show you how to put a razor sharp edge on a blade ... and keep it there!
