Our prices are extremely competitive and start from as little as £18.66 per person for a full day.
1 DAY COURSE from 9.30am to 4pm, up to 15 people + 1-2 adults – £350. Up to 30 people + 2-4 adults £560.
2 DAY COURSE from 10am to 3.30pm the following day, up to 15 people + 1-2 adults £600. Up to 30 people + 2-4 adults £800.
At Cambrian Survival, we aim to give your school or youth group an experience unlike any they have had before. We aim to open their eyes to the natural world occurring around them, its incredible variety and how they can tap into it and connect with it. It is experiential learning at its best.
We will also show them how much fun it can be. They will be able to cook their meal over an open fire, learn how to safely eat and drink from trees and plants, navigate by using only the sun or stars, learn how to put up shelters, identify different types of tree and flower, move softly and quietly through the forest and much, much more. They will see Nature in a whole new light.
The course increases the confidence of the youngsters and positively effects how they work together amongst their friends and peers. The importance of cooperation for mutual benefit becomes quickly evident and teaches them important life lessons.
The course can also be a revelation for many youngsters in showing that is not necessarily the most academically gifted who shine the brightest when outdoors. Indeed sometimes it is the most challenging young person, who struggles in mainstream education, who excels the most.
In addition, we aim to show the youngsters that a greater understanding and respect for nature instinctively leads to an increased awareness about the importance of conservation.
